We all value local and seasonal ingredients, but sometimes miss the edible ingredients that are right in our own backyards! Join Jaime Young of Sunday in Brooklyn and Will Horowitz of Ducks Eatery as they share their passion for foraging as they take you on a tour that highlights the “hyperlocal” bounty that can be found right in your backyard. Learn what to look for in parks, on the sidewalks, and on your own lawns that can be used in the kitchen to create tasty local dishes! Foraging can be an easy way to connect with your own environment and “eat local”. You will get to learn how to use these ingredients that you forage for in the kitchen and taste some of Jaime Young’s recipes!
