$250Come shape the future of the food movement! The Slow Food Leader Summit is an important annual gathering of Food Movement leaders. It’s a time to make new connections and reconnect with old friends. It’s a place learn new leadership skills and explore crucial issues in the food system. It’s an opportunity to reinvigorate our work and our communities.
This summit is designed for food movement leaders: farmers and producers, Slow Food community leaders and organizational partners, chefs, educators and other food leaders. If you want to expand your network and be an active voice in the future of food, don’t miss this summit!
The ticket includes a Thursday evening reception, Leader Summit registration, access to limited university housing, and discounted hotel rooms with our partner Kimpton hotels. For the first time this year, we’re offering Early Bird pricing:
Until March 15, tickets are only $150 for Slow Food members and $250 for non-members.
After March 15, tickets are $200 for Slow Food members and $300 for non-members.
We have a very limited number of scholarships. Please apply here by March 15.
Leader Summit (July 19)
8am — Registration and light breakfast
9am — Keynote conversation on tradition and innovation
10:15am — Breakout sessions focused on school gardens, youth, storytelling and others TBD
12pm — Lunch. Of course! How can we not break bread together?
1:45pm — Training session on equity, inclusion and justice
4pm — Closing remarks and Snailblazer awards
Festival (July 20-21)
After the official Leader Summit wraps, the public festival goes into full swing with the Taste Marketplace, workshops, talks, and lots of free programming throughout the weekend. This year, we are creating spaces for Leader Summit participants to continue both focused meetings and informal meetups throughout the weekend.
