iEat Green Shares Interview with Terry Meer, a Permaculture Guru from Kashi Ashram

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who missed my interview yesterday with Terry Meer, please listen to it below. It is inspirational!

Terry shared such a beautiful perspective on the life in a garden, and how it relates to our own internal garden, or Inner Landscape, as he calls it. He blends his own spiritual path with that of the garden, and uses it as a platform to teach others, build community, share love, and create beauty, all while being conscious and caring for the earth. I personally have experienced the transformation of the property down in Sebastian, Florida, and it is truly remarkable.

If you are interested in learning about permaculture, and are able to escape from your life for 3 weeks, Terry runs an Eco-Intern Program at the Kashi Ashram, where you live in a sustainable, little, eco-village on the Ashram property, and in exchange, you volunteer and learn about permaculture. It’s a win/win for everyone involved. The Kashi Ashram is a 40 year old intentional community that was formed under the auspices of Ma Jaya, who was a disciple of Neem Karoli Baba, the same blanket as Ram Dass and Krishna Das.
