October 28th: Food and Climate – The Way Forward
October 28, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeHow can we work with the plants that feed us and the natural systems that support them, to reduce the contribution that agriculture makes to climate change, mitigate the effects of extreme weather on our farming systems, store more carbon in the soil and adapt in a way to continue to feed ourselves healthfully? Come find out more about how food production and agriculture are significant contributors to climate change and how our food systems will be radically changed by climate change. We will also discuss actions all of us can take to help improve the situation.
