Before Trump left office, he made sure to do as much damage as possible. This was a big win for the fossil fuel industry! He gave out permits for the oil and gas companies to mine on public lands and federal waters. One of the first things President Biden did when he got to office was to create an executive order halting those leases. With a democratic majority in both houses, we have an unprecedented chance to accelerate our transition away from climate-busting fossil fuels and toward a future powered by 100% clean energy.

Tell Congress to do its part to permanently end oil and gas leasing on public lands and in federal waters and move the U.S. toward an equitable clean energy future for all.
