We already watered down the single largest climate bill in American history, and we can’t afford to water it down anymore. We need to transform our transportation, energy and manufacturing sectors for the better, if we want to avert the worst impacts of climate change.

The Build Back Better plan puts $550 billion dollars towards clean energy, including manufacturing, incentives for solar and wind, and infrastructure and tax credits for electric vehicles. This bill, alongside a bipartisan infrastructure bill that already passed the U.S. Senate and now awaits passage in the House, will upgrade and modernize our electrical grid, eliminate lead service lines (ensuring that clean water is delivered to millions of families) and shore up our coastlines so our communities are more resilient and capable of withstanding the impacts of extreme weather. 

This historic investment in clean energy, climate solutions, environmental injustices, and jobs is a major step that will put us firmly on the path to cut carbon pollution by 50% by 2030 — a goal scientists say is necessary to combat the climate crisis.

Please urge your elected leaders to vote “YES” on these bills!
