Factory Farms pollute the environment on every level; our soil, our water and our air, while impacting marginalized communities and fueling climate change.  Yet most of the meat, poultry and dairy in this country comes from a factory farm!

Senator Cory Booker and Representative Ro Khanna (CA) introduced a critical bill called The Farm System Reform Act, which would place an immediate moratorium on the construction of any new factory farm or expanding any existing factory farm, while phasing them out by 2040. Also know as CAFO’s (confined animal feeding operations), these feeding operations put the public at risk and increases corporate control over our food supply. We need to rid ourselves of these factory farms and support small family farmers and ranchers who are treating the animals with dignity, mitigating climate change, and raising food that is better for our bodies and our planet.

We need to put pressure on our Senators and Representatives to support this bill now, and to put an end to Factory Farms!!
