Home and community gardeners are invited to a series of workshops at Gateway Community Garden. The workshops are designed to improve the quality and quantity of vegetables raised by hand gardeners.

The first workshop will occur this coming Sunday at 3 pm, and will be presented by Regina Dlugokencky, the 2014 mentor at Gateway and an experienced organic farmer.

Mentor Regina will present information on diagnosing insect damage and recognizing the various stages of life the insects pass through. She’ll also review some organic methods of controlling the pests. The workshop is FREE to attend and open to the public.
