An Interview with Danielle Nierenberg, President of Food Tank

Hi All,

What a fun week I had! I got to play tourist in my own city, while hosting my guests from Turin, Italy. I saw the NY skyline from the Top of the Rock, walked the shellabrationHighline, visited a few East End vineyards on our way to Slow Food’s Shellabration event in Montauk, took in Lincoln Center and Broadway, and ate dinner at two of the most celebrated restaurants in New York, Del Posto and Telepan. Wow! It was all fantastic!

Now I am back to reality, weeding my garden, catching up on emails, planning my Farm to Table Cooking Classes, along with some exciting Slow Food North Shore events. My first cooking class of the summer will be on Wednesday, July 9th, from 6:30 to 9:30, and will continue, every other Wednesday, throughout the growing season.
