Register for Community Gardens Virtual Event!
On Tuesday, April 27 from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. ET, the Smithsonian’s Museum of Natural History will host a discussion about Washington, D.C.’s community gardens. The virtual event will feature filmmaker Cintia Cabib, the producer of the documentary A Community of Gardeners, Gary Krupnick of the Smithsonian’s Plant Conservation Unit, who will talk about a new pollinator project for community gardeners, and Carrie Seltzer of iNaturalist who will describe how gardeners can participate in the 2021 City Nature Challenge. Program registrants will receive a link to watch the film A Community of Gardeners prior to the event. Register here for this free event!
