Join Orkestai Farm for an open-air Community Dance that will spin us into the heart of the growing season. The event will feature an inclusive community dance in the field, zucchini muffin bites, and herbal iced teas hand-crafted by our Organic Growers. 

This dance aims to be inclusive of all, and Neurodiversity is embraced.  The dances are simple called folk dances accompanied by live fiddle music. Before each dance, the caller organizes participants into pairs and walks them through the steps.  All of the dances selected for this event are beginner friendly.

Caller:  Chart Guthrie has been calling dances for nearly thirty years and dancing since he was in fifth grade. He has called dances from Maine to Washington DC, but calls primarily on Long Island. His easygoing style and clear teaching technique gets even beginners up dancing before they know it.

Band: DANCE ALL NIGHT! plays old time traditional music for dances and listening for all types of events, public and private.

The funds raised at this event will be used to incorporate dance, music, and art into our daily rhythms at the farm.
