Now in its 8th season, Brasil Summerfest, the largest international contemporary Brazilian music & arts festival in the world returns to New York City, Sunday, July 29th through Sunday, August 12th. The festival will kick-off on Sunday, July 29th with its popular Street Fair + Block Party featuring the best of Brazilian food and product vendors, drinks, DJs and live music performances at the Hester Street Fair in downtown Manhattan. Come taste Brazilian flavors with samba bowls by Berimbau, tapioca from Cafe Oca, Churrasco (Brazilian BBQ). açai ice cream, acarajé, coxinhas (Brazilian croquettes), feijoada (Brazilian classic), pasteis de feira, cocada, pão de quejo and a lot more. The bar will be stocked by Brazilian beers, bubbly wines, Sangria and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There will also be a variety of other vendors showcasing their products.

The day will feature music by DJ Gaspar Muniz & DJ Greg Caz playing Brazilian classics, a live Choro performance by Regional de NY and plenty more to get everyone dancing!

Admission to the Street Fair + Block Party is free with food & drink available for purchase. The Hester Street Fair is located at the corner of Hester & Essex Streets.
