May 24: Taste NY Craft Beverage Experience

WHAT: A celebration of New York farm-based craft beverages (beer, cider, spirits, wine) and foods
WHY: To create awareness of New York products; encourage tourism to the regions and producers; and create commercial networks between producers and the trade
WHEN: Wednesday, May 24, 12 noon-4 pm (invitation-only trade and media), and 6-9 pm (consumers)
WHERE: Pier A, lower Manhattan, COST:$75 tickets
WHO: Sponsored and organized by the New York Wine & Grape Foundation with a grant from Empire State Development and partnership with Taste NY and Pier A. Event production by Marissa Ain of Plate + Decanter in conjunction with Pier A.
WHO ELSE: 48 craft beverage producers, New York Wine & Culinary Center, plus select food producers from around the state
NEEDS: Sufficient donated food samples for a total of 750 attendees (anticipating 300-400 per session), staff to help coordinate (move in/out, etc.); information about the company, and contact information about participants..
