Farming the Future: Farm Life on Long Island celebrates the enduring way of life, work ethic, and value system of Long Island family farmers, whose rural heritage spans more than three centuries, and chronicles their struggles with everything from weather and suburban sprawl to competition from abroad. Narrated by actor William Baldwin, a Long Island native, the film also features an interview with Farm Aid president and music legend Willie Nelson.
