The evening will start with the premiere screening of a new short film, We Are Slow Food , which explains who we are and how we connect with the East End via interviews with produce, livestock and marine farmers, food producers, a winemaker, educators and activists who all are part of our SFEE community. People featured in the film will be on hand to answer questions. All of these guests have a close connection with Slow Food East End sharing our mission, objectives and efforts, earning Snail of Approval awards or as recipients of past SFEE Resilience Grants which has helped them sustain, promote or optimize their businesses.
