Namaste Everyone!
Well, this has been an amazing trip! When I last wrote you, I was on my way to Jageshwar, the home of 125 6th century temples, all dedicated to the Lord Shiva, that are still being worshiped today. It was quite an amazing site! We stayed in a hotel that was nestled in a forest of Deodar Pine trees, which are unique to that area, and are in threat of poachers, who steal the trees because of their natural resistance to termites and rot.
After two days there, we returned to The Kainchi Ashram, which by this time felt like home. We were welcomed back to our hotel with their gourmet meals and lovely staff, and to our new satsang friends at the ashram. The ashram was getting ready for an annual celebration called Durga Puja, and many more people had arrived, including some old satsang friends from the States.?Saturday?was the first day of Durga Puja, which will continue for 9 days. We were supposed to leave?on Sunday?morning, but the energy was so special, that we extended our stay one more day, and are heading back to Delhi now. We got to spend some extra time in Darshan with “Ma”, and we were totally loved up. We feel complete! We were basked in the love of Baba and all of his satsangs.
