iEat Green: An Interview with Kashia Cave

Hi All,

Yesterday, I had a great interview with Kashia Cave, the owner and founder of My City Kitchen. My City Kitchen focuses on educating young people between the ages of 6 and 17 about healthy eating, while giving them the skills to prepare and cook delicious? food. Having set the program up as a non-profit organization, My City Kitchen is able to receive donations and grants from corporations and business’ which allow for sponsorship of children who would otherwise not be able to afford the program. This past year, Kashia has expanded the program to train teens who have completed the coarse, on how to become My City Kitchen teachers themselves. This not only does this set up teens for future employment, but also enables more young people to go through the program. To listen to the full interview and find out how you can donate to this great program, click below and/or visit www.mycitykitchen.org
