This morning I had the privilege? of interviewing Martha Page, the Executive Director of Hartford Food Systems, Inc. While talking with her about the work that the Hartford Food System does in Connecticut, I was reminded of the connection that so many of us have who are working for a more fair and equitable food system nationwide. Instead of all looking at our individual cities, and their problems, we need to look beyond our immediate area to create regional food sheds that would improve the food accessibility for the whole region. I asked Martha if she had magic wand what one thing would she change in our food system, and I loved her answer!
