iEat Green Celebrates Family & NOFA-NY’s Winter Conference’s Success! Bhavani Interviews Kate Mendenhall, Director of the Organic Farmers Association on PRN!

Hi All,

This past weekend I got to hang with my husband, two sisters, my brother and my sister in-law. It felt so good! It felt so normal, and yet at the same time, so precious, knowing that it could be taken away again, at a moments notice, anytime a new variance shows its head. Oh how I hope not! The gratitude I have for being a part of this family is immense, and I don’t take it for granted. Time is a funny thing, how a situation can feel like it happened years ago and at the same time feel like it happened yesterday. Hanging with my siblings this weekend felt like that. It felt like we hadn’t all been together in years, and it also felt like we were never apart. It was delicious!

NOFA-NY’s Winter Conference was a Success!

This past week was the NOFA-NY Winter Conference, which was filled with workshops and round table discussions on everything from How to Grow Organic, to Seed Saving, Dairy Farming, Livestock, Policy work, and Climate Change. It was an amazing conference, but if you are anything like me, you were not able to participate in all of the workshops you wanted to. Fortunately, all of the presentations were recorded, so you can still access them up until March 1st with your conference ticket. However, if you hadn’t purchased a NOFA-NY Winter Conference ticket, you can purchase a $40.00 ticket to access all of the live recordings! What a deal!!
