During this Covid19 pandemic, iEat Green is offering a weekly Wednesday night, “Let’s Cook Dinner Together”, cooking class on Zoom, where we will all be able to make a delicious, plant-based dinner together. Beginning at 5 pm, EST, we will chop, cook, drink and have fun, while getting dinner on the table! Please sign up, so I can send you the recipe ahead of time, and you can have most of the ingredients on hand. The recipes are flexible, so if you don’t have all of the ingredients, you can substitute something else or leave it out.
Please register in advance here for this Zoom Cooking Class
Because I want these classes to be accessible to everyone, there is no charge. However, if you would like to contribute to offset my expenses, it would be much appreciated. You can make a contribution here.

If You’re Hungry, Community Solidarity Offers Free Food to Those in Need!
Community Solidarity is a non-profit organization that collects excess food from supermarkets, stores, restaurants and bakeries, and serves it to the community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, volunteers are boxing up a weekly supply of food, and putting it directly into your car or basket. Check out the website for locations and times.
Volunteers are needed. If you are able to volunteer without putting yourself or your loved ones at risk, they could use your help. If you’ve never volunteered with Community Solidarity before you can sign up here. They also are in need of donations.

Laura Chepner, Author of Veducated! An Educator’s Guide for Vegan-Inclusive Teaching Joins Bhavani on the Progressive Radio Network!
Veducated is a guidebook for education professionals who wish to learn more about veganism, how to engage with children and parents who are vegan, and how to incorporate lessons and policies to be as inclusive as possible. This honest, informative, and practical guide contains useful facts, hints, tips, and ready-to-use lesson plans all with the vegan child’s viewpoint in mind. Suggestions made are easily digestible and executable as Chepner brings with her many years of teaching experience. The book was written with primary educators in mind, though the material is applicable across various age groups and educational settings. Veducated will assist education professionals in ensuring that the growing number of vegan students in our classrooms are treated equally, which will not only assist learning for the vegan child, but may also have a profound effect on the whole educational ethos and beyond.
