Hi Everyone,
I just returned from our 21st Annual Christmas Event, where iEat Green, along with many volunteers, served the needy a delicious Italian Feast in Rufus King Park. Each year, on the Tuesday before the holiday, we partner with the River Fund NY Food Pantry, to bring a memorable day to the people in this community. Santa gives gifts to all of the children, and there is a huge selection of toys for parents to select a gift for their child. We added to the toys, by donating boxes jewelry and books we collected. Even though the day was wet and rainy, our spirits were high, and a wonderful time was had by all.
This week, I am very excited to have Eric Weltman joining me for my show on the Progressive Radio Network. Eric is a Senior Organizer for Food & Water Watch, and I asked him to join us to talk about the negotiations that took place in Paris, and what the stipulations of the Climate Treaty are. We are living in very turbulent times, and the ramifications of a treaty like this, can make the difference between the survival of our planet and the human race, or our demise. I hope you can join us on this Christmas Eve Day!
Remember, my show is recorded live, every Thursday, from 10-11 am, EST. To tune in, navigate to PRN.fm and click the “Listen Live” button on the left. Also try downloading the PRN mobile app, and take the station with you wherever you go!
