iEat Green Joins March for Our Lives Movement! Passover and Easter Celebrations Welcome in Spring! Laurie Courage, Plant Based Educator and Chef Joins Bhavani on PRN

Hi Everyone,

I hope most of you reading this had the opportunity to join in one of the 800 plus sister marches and rallies that happened across America this past weekend for the March For Our Lives. It was an energizing and captivating moment for the Gun Control Movement, and one that will not be going away any time soon! Hallelujah! This issue has been on the back burner long enough, and I am so glad it has been brought up to the front burner with the heat on High! If we don’t get the support that is needed from our Legislators and Congress people, than we need to vote them out this coming November at the mid-term elections. I know you may be wondering what gun control has to do with food, but as you know, I believe that food is connected to everything, and this is no exception. On the surface it has nothing to do with it, however, it is well documented that a healthy diet, high in fruits and vegetables can prevent depression and promote well being, while a diet high in fats, artificial ingredients, and preservatives can do the opposite. I wonder if our society would be different if everyone ate a whole foods, mostly plant based diet?

This coming weekend is a holiday for many, and I wish you all a joyous celebration, surrounded by family and loving friends. Check out some of my favorite Passover recipes for your Sedar or Easter Dinner!

My guest this week on the Progressive Radio Network is Laurie Courage, founder of Encouraging Greens and a plant based educator. Laurie helps people who are dealing with a health crisis, to restore their health through wellness coaching, nutrition and plant based, whole foods cooking classes.
