Hi Everyone,
I had a great interview with Michael Amendola yesterday, about the difference in small batch, artisanal wines, versus the commercial, industrial making of wine. We also talked about the added sulfites in wines and why some wines give you headaches and others do not. Michael believes it is the quality of the wine and the type of grapes used to make the wine that gives people headaches. We also discussed what makes some wines vegan and others not.
Michael loves sharing his passion with others, and offers regular wine tasting opportunities in his Sea Cliff shop, The Village Wine Merchant, on Friday nights, as well as special events. Our Slow Food North Shore will be hosting a wine tasting event there on Saturday evening, January 11th from 5-7pm.
