Hi All,
This past Thursday, I had the pleasure of talking with Onika Abraham, the director of Farm School NYC, about their organization. Farm School NYC offers adults comprehensive, professional training in sustainable agriculture that is grounded in social and food justice. Onika is a farmer and educator with more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit management, and this position has brought together her passion for farming and social justice. The Farm School is multi-cultural, and offers both one year and two year programs. It is designed for those working a full time job, who are passionate about getting their hands in the dirt. If interested, listen to our interview below, and check out their website at http://www.farmschoolnyc.org/
