Hi Everyone,
The New Year is a great opportunity for us to realign our priorities, and to focus our attention on our health and taking care of our bodies. I’m not talking about dieting. I gave that up years ago! I’m talking about loving yourself and choosing foods that will support a healthy body. Using lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, start creating meals that are plant forward, using whole foods that are grown and raised without harmful pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, GMO’s and hormones. Re-kindle your meditation practice (or start one up), and make sure to get plenty of exercise. Practice gratitude, kindness and thankfulness, and share the love! We need love now more than ever, to heal the divide, and to bring us together in unity and peace. May we all manifest the power of Love!
My guest this week on the Progressive Radio Network is Alina Zolotareva, the Senior Marketing and Nutrition Manager at AeroFarms. AeroFarms is the largest indoor vertical farm in the world, based in Newark, NJ, and providing fresh vegetables to the region. Alina is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), and leverages her background in nutrition science and public health to translate nutrition science to consumers, playing a key role in AeroFarms’ mission to combat food deserts and bring fresh, local, nutritious leafy greens to all communities. In addition to marketing, communications and product management at AeroFarms, she also leads marketing strategy for AeroFarms’ consumer brand, Dream Greens. Please join me on Thursday, as we discuss the future of vertical farming, and what it means to grow vegetables hydroponically.
