This past Thursday, I interviewed Joe Chierchie from Starfish Junction, about his love of? the Craft Beer Movement, and about the beer festivals that Starfish Junction puts on. The expansion of breweries on Long Island is representative of what is happening across the country, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime in the near future. As a matter of fact, many communities are welcoming the new breweries into their towns, as a springboard to revitalizing the local community and downtown area. Coming up, this Saturday, March 21st, is the LI Spring Craft Beer Festival at the Nassau Coliseum. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, you might want to grab them before they sell out!
