This week, in the New York Times, analysts take a look at the fast growing plant based meat market, and try to decipher if these meat alternatives can really lower one’s global footprint. Like in all foods, we need transparency. We need to know, not only the ingredients, but the sources of those ingredients, how they were grown, where they were grown, what impact did those ingredients have on the land and people, in order to really know it’s global foot print.
