According to a New York Times article , taking a 3 minute break, every half hour to move, can greatly improve your health. A new study shows that getting up to move, whether it is climbing the stairs, taking a walk, or doing jumping jacks, can help to mitigate the negative effects that sitting all day can have on our metabolic system. It also helps one’s mental state to take a break from the computer, and to breath deeply.
