U.S. Supreme Court Upholds the Clean Water Act!

This is great news! Earthjustice, Food and Water Watch, and other non-profits have been fighting with the Trump administration’s attempt to roll back the safety standards of the Clean Water Act. Earthjustice has worked on this case for years, starting in Maui where a wastewater treatment plant was causing coral reef damage, and continuing to battle as corporate polluters joined the opposition.

New York Organic Farmers Need Our Support!

NOFA-NY, which is the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York, is the only organization that provides technical assistance and educational services to NY farmers, while promoting the benefits of organic agriculture to the larger community. We also fight for maintaining the integrity of organic standards in Albany and DC, and work to help influence the policies that govern these standards.  We couldn’t do this without the help of our consumers who value the work we do.

During this crucial time of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen the fragility of our food system, and the dangers of relying on industrial agriculture to feed us. We need to support our local farmers and producers. We are reaching out to all of you to please support the work of NOFA-NY and become a member.
