Hi All,
Tonight is the launch party for Wenonah Hauter’s new book, Foodopoly, and I’m excited to go and celebrate this great piece of work! (If you missed last week’s interview with Wenonah, check it out here!)
This week, my guest on the Progressive Radio Network is Leah Retherford, the farm manager at The Queens County Farm Museum. I’ve waited a long time to get Leah on my show, but I finally realized, that if you want to interview a farmer, it’s best to talk to them in the winter! I have such fond memories of visiting the Queens Farm with my children, many years ago, and I look forward to learning more about what makes this farm so special. I hope you can join us!
Remember, my show is recorded live, every Thursday, from 10-11 am, EST. If you want to call in during the show with any questions for me or my guest, the call in number is 888-874-4888.
If you can’t tune in at that time, you can listen to the show in the PRN archives, or on my website, or through iTunes. You can also access the show by calling in to The Progressive Radio Network at (832) 280-0066.
After my show, I will be heading in to New York City, to attend the event, ” How to Feed Our Growing Planet” at The Museum of Natural History. If you care about the foods you eat, and food security, this is an event that you will want to attend. I look forward to seeing many of you there!
In peace and love,
Bhavani
