Take Action: Keep GMO Salmon Off Your Plate! What’s the Real Story with 5G?

GMO salmon is coming, and we need everyone’s help in keeping it off our plates (or at least labeling it!)  The Center for Food Safety is taking the lead in this fight, and they are in need of some financial help. The government and biotech industry have the power and the money, and they are doing everything they can to drive up the cost of the lawsuit and make it tough to keep going. The Center for Food Safety’s legal team has put in thousands of hours of work on this case, but they need the communities help. If GMO salmon is allowed, it will be just the beginning. Fishing communities would be devastated, and the environmental consequences could be extreme. Over 2 million penned salmon escape into the Atlantic every year. Studies have shown that if even a small number of them were to be GMO salmon, it could drive wild salmon to extinction!

What’s the Real Story with 5G?

We don’t know! That’s why it needs to be studied, BEFORE it hits the market!

Did you hear? New Hampshire became the first state to officially establish a commission to study the health and environmental effects of 5G technology. Last week, our local, grassroots organization, The Citizen’s for 5G Awareness,  called our local state legislators requesting that they do the same.  They also sent them a copy of the New Hampshire-inspired law to make it nice and easy for them.

The Citizen’s for 5G Awareness  is asking for us to follow up with our Senators or Assembly member.  They have provided us with a template, to make it nice and easy for us too! Here is a link to find your state legislators

Below is a script you can use when you call or write to your state senator and assembly representative.

Script:

Dear Senator/Legislator/Assembly member____,

Last week, I reached out to you to bring to your attention the New Hampshire law establishing a commission to study the health and environmental impacts of evolving 5G technology. I requested that we do the same here in New York.  Have you reviewed the New Hampshire-inspired law I sent? Has it been discussed with the _________(senator / legislator / assemblyman)?  Are you willing to introduce similar legislation in New York?

While thousands of families are now living next to “small cells”, we look to you to keep us safe.  I look forward to hearing back from you.

Sincerely,
