Food DayAttend or Host a Food Day Event

Food Day, a nationwide celebration and movement for healthy, affordable, and sustainable food, is Wednesday, October 24th! Last year, the first ever celebration of Food Day brought together thousands of people, all united by belief in a better food system. This year, local events are being organized all around the country.

There are over one hundred events organized in the New York metropolitan area alone — including the Crossroads Farm Fall Festival, right here on Long Island. Find an event to attend, or host an event of your own! Also check out Food Day resources like school curriculums and recipes cards that can help you celebrate Food Day in many ways.
