Take Action: Stop the Williams Pipeline, Once and For All!! Stop the Trump Administration from Giving a Green Light to Polluters!

Let’s Put an End to the Williams Pipeline, Once and For All!

It seems like I’ve been writing about the Williams Pipeline forever! This is the pipeline that has been denied, re-applied, denied, and re-applied again. We have until May 17th to make sure Governor Cuomo puts an end to this once and for all! This is the fracked gas pipeline proposed for the shores of New York City that would come from Pennsylvania, go through New Jersey, and then wind its way through Staten Island, New York City, and Long Island. It would threaten marine life and beach communities, put us in danger in the event of a leak or terrorism, and lock New York into decades more of dirty fossil fuels. It would cost ratepayers 1.4 billion dollars and could end up being an abandoned asset down the road since the state passed the Climate Leadership Communities Protection Act, which requires NYS to move off of fossil fuels.

Please call Governor Cuomo at 877-235-6537 or tweet Governor Cuomo, and tell him to deny the permit for the Williams Pipeline!

Stop the Trump Administration from Giving a Green Light to Polluters!

I find this hard to believe, but it is true! The EPA will not be enforcing our nation’s federal environmental laws during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is giving a Green Light to corporate polluters.

Our health, especially those most vulnerable to the pandemic with pre-existing conditions, and the health of the environment is in danger!
